Is it Spring ?

Paperwhites bloom in my front yard....thin wispy clouds float across the blue sky on a warm day. A precious grand-daughter slides down the bright yellow slide at the park and swings in bright blue swings. Great big giggles and the look of discovery on her face. There are no jackets today.
Short sleeves, capris and running shoes on this grandmother with the apple green iPdo in her pocket as she takes her morning walk.
A happy baby wakes from a nap after running and playing in the spring like air. Tomorrow winter arrives once again.
Our 79 degree day will be replaced by wind chills in the 20's. Today, and yesterday, just a bit of a tease for what is around the corner.

So we were thrilled to hit 40 today. There hasn't been many above freezing temps this month. We are to get below zero again this weekend with the temps starting to drop overnight. I am soooo jealous. I am thankful we have snow on the ground. It makes it so pretty out (as opposed the the grayness without it). Enjoy your warmth!

I love it when my daffodils start to poke their heads above the ground after a long winter's sleep. I like ONE good snow and then I'm ready for milder temperatures. This southern girl can't take a real winter.

The front hit here yesterday morning - brrr! Sadly, we didn't get a drop of moisture with it. I love every season, but I would love to see a little snow with the cold and the wind :) Have a wonderful weekend with your sweet family.

Seems as if Texas weather is a schizophrenic as New England weather! Our basketball teams have been down there for a tournament since Wednesday...guess they felt right at home with all the temperature changes! They'll come home to day to near-zero temps...
