a bit more ....

A little more progress every day....trying to keep things simple. Using what we have, not spending a fortune, recycling, seeking things that reflect our philosophy in life.

Your new living area looks lovely. Did you take the photos in the frames yourself?
It's lovely, Patty! More contemporary without sacrificing any of the warm and friendly spirit your home has.

I love simplicity. It looks so good. Less is more they say. This makes me want to get busy on mine.

I wondered if those are your photos also.

I think it looks very cozy yet simple and clean, oh so clean.

not my photographs...but I plan on replacing the ones in there with some of my own, just not sure which ones yet. Might have to take some black and whites just for that purpose.
It is looking great!! Thanks for sharing the photos - it has been fun to see the transformation.

It's beautiful, simple, warm and inviting! Can I come over? I'll even help feed the goats.

Oh Patty! The new look is lovely. The photographs you have hung on your walls are simply breathtaking, and your new furniture looks comfortable and inviting. Great job!
I thought Ansel Adams on the black and whites--I forget about the wonderful photo technology that some are so clever with. The room looks restful--and oh, so tidy!
