North Texas Blog Get Together

I haven't forgotten about the plans for a get together, just been trying to work out the logistics of such an event. Mei-Ling has tests this month at the hospital along with a couple Doctors visits and then I am having company from out of state so looks like it might be the first part of November when this will take place. How would Thursday the 9th work out ? Email me to let me know if thats an ok date for those interested.

I won't be coming to your get together, it's a little far for me to come from Oregon but it sounds like a great idea.

With your curious mind I want to suggestion two books I think you would enjoy. Perhaps you've already read them but I hadn't.

A companion book needs to be read as well.

The Irony of History
by Rinhold Niebuhr

Now you know I want to come to this meet up...but I won't be able to unless someone picks me up. The hubby has college all day on Thursday. He is off Friday-Sunday.
