A Mothers Joy

Melissa had a snow day today, no school, no pupils. She read my blog about 50 things I am thankful for and sent me a list of her 50 things. Reading it made me feel so good. So proud to have children that know about the joys in life, big and little. So proud to have children that understand that its not just the things we have that make gratitude, but its things like warm sunshine, health, love, memories and relationships.

Lucky Melissa! We only had a 2-hour delay =( I would have preferred to snuggle back into bed after the 5:15 call to tell us what was happening. Instead, I got up anyway, shoveled out, and went to school to be greeted by some 30 kids who did not know we had a delay! Grrrrrr!
