Inspiration

Surround yourself with things that inspire you. Art, good books, poetry, music, and people who are inspiring.
Be an inspiration to others. Be a container of goodness that overflows. Notice things around you that draw you to the simple beauty of nature. Look at the sunsets, notice the clouds, the way the leaves are budding on the trees. Seek to find flowers and look deeply at them. Notice if they have a sweet scent. Move beyond the obvious to find the hidden beauty in the things around us.
Reach beyond the worries and concerns that consume you. Seek the things that take you to a moment of inspiration and then you can inspire others.

I have been reading your blog for months now, after a friend recommended it. You probably realize, but you touch a huge range of people. I'm 28 and in WI, while my friend is in WA. Anyway, your writing is always so soothing, as are your pictures. I have been feeling like God is leading me to something else, and towards taking care of my home, even if that means many financial sacrifices. I don't currently have children, but if God wills, that will come. When I start to worry, I actually think of your blog and how you seem to be so fulfilled with the simple things, and that's just what I'm looking for. I know that God will provide and I shouldn't be worried about the "what if's" of being able to "retire" in 30+ years, if I stop working now. Have you written a post about such topics? Did you work before having children? I'm rambling, but I just wanted you to know how much I enjoy reading your soothing posts each day. Thanks!
