Rain for a parched land

What joy it has been to hear rain falling and see the thirsty land drink of this water from heaven.  I went out with my mud boots on, first time in a very long time, and walked our land.  The little creek winding its way down to the woods.  Ground soggy under my feet for the first time in many months.  God is so good.  Over 3 inches have fallen in the last 24 hours.
