Sunday Morning in Picture

Sunday mornings seem to afford me a little extra roaming around with the camera time and so it was this morning.... The ground wet from the rain of the last few days, new life springing forth from the ground after being feed from this miraculous liquid that falls from the sky.
The herb garden has awoken from the hot summer slumber. The basil's setting seed, and yet blooming at the same time. Mint refreshed and popping up everywhere. Germander and Oregano looking healthy and vibrant. Sage, strong and standing tall. Even the lavender has picked up and sprouting new leaves at such a rate it reminds me of time lapse photography every time I go past it.
The sunshine gracing the hay mangers with a golden glow as its rays slip in through an opening.
Tiny kittens sleep with full tummies. Momma cat lapping up warm goat milk.
Rain drops from last night, stubborn to let go and hang on to a tiny flower. Tiny metallic bugs visit plants, for a bite. It is my Sunday morning, camera in hand.

What do you do with the germander? That's a fairly rare one to find.
What a beautiful pile of kittens. Emily
