Some things in nature are flashy and others simple and seemingly understated, both contain beauty, each in its own way. Some birds are colorful and eye catching yet their songs are raspy and harsh, other birds are drab and blend in so well with the landscape they go un-noticed except for their beautiful song. I suspect people can be much the same.

The roses, so fragrant, so beautiful, so delightful to behold, yet the log amid the grasses and weeds holds a beauty that relaxes and brings peace to the onlooker, by its color contrasts and simplicity and by careful inspection, a world of marvelous interaction is to be found .
