Where there is a will, there is a way

Simply put, I love milking the goats and am not too happy about any limitations. Emery is more than willing to milk for me in the evenings when he is home but its difficult in the morning. I came up with a solution that I think will allow me the pleasure of milking the goats twice a day.
Splints on, gloves over them. Sounds reasonable to me and it worked !

does the motion of milking aggravate your carpal tunnel? Or is the problem you are faced with a matter of grip with the splints on?

I hope you'll get to keep your goats. The only person who I know who has had surgery for carpal tunnel was my Uncle John Lee and he said if he had known how much better he'd feel, he would have done it sooner!

In case you are considering it.

I know that this is so hard on you as much as you do. I will continue to pray for you.

I've had carpel tunnel syndrome. It hurts. Take care of yourself. Perhaps you could look at the hand held EZ milker for a while.

Hope your wrists get better soon!
I have always worked with my hands--refinishing furniture, painting, gardening, using a rotary cutter. Some things--like hanging onto a paint roller--aren't do-able anymore, sometimes I use an elastic wrist support when cutting quilt strips. Sometimes I just have to concede that working in smaller doses of time is wise.
Almost didn't "stop by" today as you had mentioned you might not post--you surprised me with lots of interesting photos and comments.
