Mei-Ling having test done today
If you have a moment today, say a prayer for Mei-Ling, she is going to have a test done at the hospital and everyone is hoping and praying for a good report. Poor wee one has to endure one more procedure done to her.Just wanted to mention that since everyone so generously made blocks for Mei-Lings prayer quilt or sent a gift for her when she was having her last surgery, Mei-Ling has not been in the hospital ! That dear friends is a miracle, the miracle of prayer and good thoughts. Every night she snuggles under that quilt at bedtime, wrapped in prayer and love.

I'm reading Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and finding it inspiring. I'm looking at your growing garden, and reading about gardening, and getting hungry - and full of plans when I've moved and settled into a new home.
We are looking for land to build a house much like the one we built here (and love), but now must leave. I've been looking at the prospects carefully, knowing it must be land that will be good for growing - growing animals, plants, and children. Then Love will grow too.
I hope the tests are good news.
Mei-Ling has a condition that is called heterotaxy polysplenia, her internal organs are a bit messed up. One kidney, 3 holes in her heart, several spleens, her vena cava is not hooked up, her reproductive system is a mess, her urinary tract is a mess, she has a vesicostomy. Other than that she is just fine.
If it's all right, I think I'll look around a little.
Oh - I've been praying for rain for months and months. Perhaps this coming week?
I don't know the whole story but will pray for this sweet little one.

I find it heartwarming that we can become attached to other folks families and children simply through the act of blogging and reading blogs...
I know this little cutie has certainly won my heart!
