Fall Cleaning

This year my fall cleaning is a bit later than most years, but with Emery sick, I had a higher duty than deep cleaning.   His check up with the Doctor on Tuesday went well and he is feeling better each day.
God has heard the prayers offered for my dear husband.
The morning started out beautifully, with the sound of a woodpecker on the dead tree beside the kitchen window, the branches have been removed, but the truck remains, mostly because we love to watch the birds gather on it, waiting their turn at the bird feeder by the window.  The woodpecker was a busy boy, checking for the right place to do his pecking, then he hopped over to the bird feeder, hung upside down, checking out each little nook and cranny to see if perhaps there was a spot for him to work at.  Emery and I sat at the kitchen table amused for many minutes watching this colorful bird.  How wonderful it is to see the workings of nature each day.  I enjoyed my time outside washing windows on this bright sunshine filled morning, hearing the bird songs, and catching glimpse of a couple of red tailed hawks flying over head.
This afternoon I have some baking to do and plan on putting a pot of soup on the stove for our evening meal, that must be eaten in haste tonight as we have our
CHIP meeting to go to.  We are really enjoying this new way of eating.  Plant based eating using food as grown as much as possible.   In the last 8 weeks I have lost 24 lbs !  Feel fantastic and have more energy than I have had in a long time.   Our son Steven and his wife are also attending the program which delights us so much.    Each meeting is informative, and enlightening, along with a break time where delicious healthy food is served.    Our bodies are vehicles used for service and need to be cared for and this program is showing us a better way of caring for it.  We have always eaten healthy but this ups it a few notches.
Back to work, the computer can be a theif of time and today I cannot allow it to be a theif !
