A Little Update

Ended up in the Emergency Room last night. Infection is back and the pain was enough to make me cry and that doesn't happen often. Still the same thing, a stubborn UTI that won't let go.

Throat is still sore. They did tests, gave me a shot of antibiotic that I can still feel, and they gave me some pain pills, which this natural woman would normally not take, but last night I was very grateful for. Sent me home with a new prescription, took another culture.

I keep imagining my bacteria as being something from Star Trek that morphs when each new antibiotic is given, fighting to hold on its existence. From now on I will think of it as met its match.

The ER was full of Swine flu patients. Its rampant around these parts.
