Black Forbidden Rice


A new food for me...black forbidden rice.  Higher in nutrition than brown rice.

I have never seen this sort of rice before. I do love all types though. Used to barter babysitting for wild rice in Minnesota during the rice harvest season..yum!! Is this sort of like wild rice???? I will have to see if I can find some next time I go up to "the city".
I hope the heat lets up some for you soon.
