Tenderness

This is one of the reasons we have chicks and ducklings this year. To see the wonder in our grandchildren's eyes as they tenderly hold new life and learn how to be responsible, even at this young age. Helping to water and feed animals is a wonderful way to learn about life and work and the meaning of caring for the things we love.
