Birthday Fun

Last night we celebrated Melanie's 27th birthday ! What a joy she is to us. Not only is she kind and sweet, but she is my good friend and the most fantastic mother I have ever met.

A favorite meal, cake, ice cream and of course presents and the laughter of both family and friends. Papa, has not lost his golden touch and calmed a fussy baby in no time at all. He is a natural with children of all ages, but pretty much a miracle worker with tiny babies. I suppose they sense his calm and gentle nature.
