An Ordinary Day

An ordinary day, sky of blue, clouds hanging in the sky looking like wool pulled from sheep.  Sunshine, dry leaves on the ground.  Chickens contentedly clucking, ducks bathing in their little pool.  Birds singing...the sound of the saw as my beloved works on the kitchen.  New wood for the walls, restoring them to more of their original appearance.  Painted white, all white, Scandinavian look.  Touches of red here accents here and there to give it more personality. Children's laughter drifting along with the breeze from across the road.  I love days when there is no reason to leave the house.  I love ordinary days, they sparkle with simple pleasures.
