An Empty House, A Truck, Ikea And A New Look

We left our very empty house with a big truck ready to shop Ikea for all sorts of new furniture.

What fun we are having redecorating most of the house !  New furniture for the living room, dining room and for one guest room.    Its like starting all over again, and in a new direction.  That wonderful clean line look that is part of Scandinavian design.  

Pictures will arrive on line when all is complete.  I had great fun buying some Christmas (Jul) decorations.  Makes me anxious for the holiday season to arrive.

Our daughter Melissa helped us load the truck at Ikea, she was such a help to us and since we were there, with a truck, she picked up a new dining set for her home, and we both picked out the same dining chairs !

On the way home, as soon as we crossed into our county, the landscape showed just what the "wide open spaces of Texas" means.
