Hit By Spammers

My blog was being hit by spammers with the links to porn so I opted to set it to private for a couple days to see if that might discourage them a bit.
I apologize to my readers for doing it with no notice but it was really getting to be a problem. I had a fear that one would slip through, even though I moderate my comments.
Normal posting will resume and there is lots of good things happening so will write a bit later and catch you all up.
Thanks to all who emailed or contacted me through facebook !

I had the same problem. I had to discontinue comments altogether. I don't understand why someone would get a kick out of spamming a blog about farming or peaceful living!

I am so thrilled that I checked back just in case. My heart sunk when I was blocked from my favorite morning visit. I could find no way to reach you to gain permission to be back in. Now it all makes sense. I do not comment much but read you everyday and have for a few years now I think. I am so attached to your sweet grandbabies. Last week someone put my name, email and work address and phone number into a site that gets people loan approvals, payday advances, etc. In two days I think I got about 100 spam emails. Guess people have nothing better to do.
